This couples photoshoot with Kait, Derek & their two horses was a DREAM of mine to capture. Combining passion for photography, my love for horses (fun fact about me - I own 3 horses) & one of my favorite things to photograph - couples in love, this photoshoot was a dream come true! We headed out a gorgeous area of Kettle Moraine Wisconsin State Forrest in Eagle, Wisconsin (Waukesha County) for this session. This overall gorgeous area is filled with beautiful tall trees, wide open fields, colorful flower bushes and horseback riding trails. This time of year the flower bushes are in full bloom.
I love when couples incorporate a hobby or something that they love to do together in their couples photoshoot. Props don’t have to scream ‘PROP!” Go for the subtle things that accentuate your personality and help to tell a story about your life. Their horses are a such a big part of Kait & Derek's lives - I was so excited when they reached out saying they wanted to include their horses in their photoshoot! & their horses were just the sweetest. I cannot express the love these two share for each other & it truly shows in their photos.
